Here are the senatorial candidates under the Robredo-Pangilinan slate.

Teddy Baguilat Jr.

Baguilat served as the governor of Ifugao from 2001-2010. In 2003, during his first term as governor, Ifugao was removed as one of the poorest provinces in the country. In 2010, he represented the sole district of Ifugao to Congress until 2016.

Jojo Binay

Binay was the Vice President of the Philippines from 2010 to 2016. Before this, he was the Mayor of Makati City from 1988-1998 and subsequently from 2001-2010.

Leila de Lima

De Lima is currently a senator after winning during the 2016 Elections. Prior to this, De Lima served as the Secretary of the Department of Justice from 2010 to 2015. From 2008 to 2010, De Lima was the Chairperson of the Commission of Human Rights.

Chel Diokno

Diokno is the Chairperson of the Free Legal Assistance Group, a group of volunteer lawyers who provide legal services to Filipinos who cannot afford them. He served as the Presidential Adviser on Human Rights from 2017-2019. He was also the General Counsel of the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee from 2001-2004.

Chiz Escudero

Escudero is currently the governor of Sorsogon after winning during the 2019 Midterm Elections. He was a member of Congress as a representative during 1998-2007. Escudero was Senator from 2007 to 2019.

Dick Gordon

Gordon has been serving as a senator from 2016 to the present, as well during 2004-2010. He is currently the Chairman of the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee that spearheads the anomalous government transactions with the pharmaceutical company, Pharmally. He is also the chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Red Cross of the Philippines.

Risa Hontiveros

Hontiveros was a member of the Congress in 2004-2010. She has served as a senator since 2016 and is currently the chairperson of the Senate Committee on Women, Children, and Family Relations. She passed landmark laws such as the Mental Health Law and Expanded Maternity Leave Law during her first term in Senate.

Alex Lacson

Lacson is a best-selling author of patriotic books such as the book “12 Little Things Every Filipino Can Do to Help the Country.” He was the former chairman of the Civil Service Commission’s Multi-Sectoral Advisory Council. He was also a former legal counsel of the United Nations Development Program to the Philippines.

Antonio Trillanes IV

Trillanes first entered politics as a Senator in 2007 and served for two terms until 2019. He also spent most of his life serving under the Philippine Navy and has amassed a total of 23 ribbons and medals for his bravery in operations relating to the Abu Sayyaf and naval searches.

Joel Villanueva

Villanueva is currently in his first term as senator. He first entered politics as a party-list representative in 2001 and served as a member of Congress until 2010. He served as the Head of TESDA from 2010 to 2015 and spearheaded the launch of the Online TESDA Program.

Migz Zubiri

Zubiri was the representative of the Third District of Bukidnon in 1995-1998. In 2007, he narrowly won a Senate seat but resigned in 2011 due to accusations of the validity of his victor. In 2016, he made a Senate comeback.
