MANILA – The Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Thursday reminded members of vulnerable sectors that they may avail of early voting during the special election for the 2nd District of Antipolo City on Saturday.

In a social media post, Comelec Chairman George Garcia said early voting will be open to senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and pregnant women on March 14.

“For the elderly, disabled, and pregnant women, they are allowed to vote from 5:00 to 7:00 in the morning,” he said.

Garcia added that voters from these groups may still cast their ballots during regular voting hours starting at 7 a.m.

He said voting is expected to conclude in the afternoon.

“We are expecting, again, the end of voting is at 3:00 p.m.,” Garcia added.
