Nearly 4M voter applications processed since October 2025


MANILA – The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has so far processed close to 4 million applications in the ongoing voter registration nationwide for the November 2026 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE).

Based on latest poll body figures, there are a total 3,909,634 voter applications processed since the activities resumed last Oct. 20, 2025.

Female applicants recorded with the highest number at 2,017,757 while male applicants are only 1,891,877.

As per area, Region 4-A (Calabarzon) still has the highest number of applications at 642,217.

It is followed by Region 3 (Central Luzon) at 434,920; and National Capital Region at 397,450.

The area that has the least number of applications processed is Cordillera Autonomous Region at 53,954.

Aside from applications for new voter, other types of applications accepted are transfer, change status/correction of entries, and reactivation.

Applicants have been reminded to bring a valid government-issued ID.

The nationwide voter registration activities will run until May 18, 2026. (PNA)
