Thousands throw support for BBM-Sara UniTeam in Taguig rally

TAGUIG CITY — Even on a Sunday, thousands of residents here gathered to show their all-out support to the UniTeam presidential-vice presidential tandem of former Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.

Speaking before a huge crowd in Arca South Parking, Duterte thanked supporters who gathered at the rally venue as early as noon.

Duterte said along with her work, she carries the teachings of her parents to treat every Filipino equally despite their status in life.

Marcos, in his message, said their support means they approve of his vision of unity for the country.

Based on Commission on Elections' (Comelec) latest data for the May 9 polls, Taguig has 449,359 registered voters.

Marcos’ son, Vinny, dedicated his performance by playing “Umagang Kay Ganda” via Ukelele, his father’s official campaign song. His wife, lawyer Liza Araneta Marcos, and son Simon Marcos were also present during the event.

Also in attendance are members of the UniTeam senatorial slate — Sherwin Gatchalian, Jinggoy Estrada, Herbert Bautista, Larry Gadon and Gibo Teodoro.

Actor and singer Randy Santiago, Bayani Agbayani, and Ai-Ai Delas Alas hosted the Uniteam rally, with artists Andrew E, Silent Sanctuary, Allm0$t and Ex-Batallion performing at the event. (PR)
